The Arab States, the Gaza War, and the Path to Peace

On July 8, b’huth Director General Mohammed Baharoon, senior Egyptian diplomat and pundit Hesham Youssef, and Ghaith al-Omari, senior fellow at The Washington Institute for Near East Policy, gathered for a joint ROPES-b’huth webinar on Israel, Gaza, and the world, moderated by ROPES CEO Ksenia Svetlova. The panelists discussed the stabilizing role that the Arab countries must play in order to stop the war and provide real security and peace for all, the prospects for eradicating the radical Islamist ideology of HAMAS and the ways of advancing Palestinian independence while providing security to Israel.
