Five Perspectives on a New Middle East - New ROPES course on the Middle East

In recent years, the Middle East has experienced dramatic changes, from the Arab Spring to the Abraham Accords, which have opened a new chapter in the relations between Israel and the region, leading to a new regional order. The sessions in this course will offer participants a window into the Middle East, providing insights into contemporary issues, key topics on the regional agenda, and the new relationships that have been formed in recent years between Israel and the Abraham Accords countries.

The course is an initiative of ROPES (The Regional Organization for Peace, Economics, and Security), founded in 2017, which connects Israelis, Palestinians, and colleagues from across the Middle East to promote regional cooperation and a sustainable resolution to the Middle East conflict. The sessions will be led by top experts, researchers, cultural figures, and decision-makers from Israel and the Middle East, who specialize and operate in the region.

The sessions will take place on Wednesdays from 17:30 to 19:30, at Itamar Ben-Avi St. 9, Tel Aviv.
