Vienna
Building on its 2019 Paris pilot program and 2020 virtual sequel, ROPES’s Vienna Summit sought to further the NGO’s founding mission: to unite forward-thinking Israeli and Palestinian emerging leaders with like-minded peers across the Arab world. The 20 assembled delegates—ages 24 to 44—included two recent Knesset members, Palestinian and Emirati business leaders, Bahraini and Jordanian diplomats, activists and social entrepreneurs, an Iraqi political advisor, and a Middle East correspondent for a major U.S. newspaper. Over four days, these young visionaries formed strong personal and professional bonds through a carefully crafted mix of group discussions, interactive speaker sessions, and local excursions.
